Newcastle Science City a partnership between Newcastle University, Newcastle City Council, One NorthEast and business, aims to establish North East England as one of the world's premier locations for the integration of science, business and economic development.
Energy and environment is one of four science themes of Newcastle Science City which will have its vibrant hub in a striking new low carbon development 'Science Central' on the former home of Newcastle Breweries in the heart of the city. Science City is also developing innovative approaches to the commercialisation of science and technology.
