The North East of England is an exceptional place in which to live and work. The ‘Passionate People, Passionate Places' campaign has put the North East on the map and won the World's Leading Regional Marketing Campaign in 2006. The Sage Gateshead will host the awards in 2007. Passionate People is how the residents of the North East have long been viewed, enjoying a great reputation for hospitality, warmth and friendliness: they truly have a passion for both energy and enjoyment that is second to none.
